We visited the Titanic museum in Pigeon Forge, which was totally awesome! Tons of artifacts brought up from the wreck site, it's amazing how intact some of the clothing and dishes were! We both were given the profile of someone aboard and got a little biography on them, then we got to find out if we survived the whole ordeal. I was a 42 year old spinster who was a ladies maid to the wife of the richest man on the ship. Bryce was a 19 year old kitchen boy in 3rd class. Amazing both of us survived. I
was really suprised that his 3rd class fellow made it out alive. It was very unlikely for that to happen. We got to touch their replica ice berg, stand on the deck of the ship at the different angles it hit while sinking (slide anyone?) view what different rooms would look like in 1st and 3rd class, stand on the Grand Staircase.
life sized replica of one of the anchors |
Did I mention that the button weeds in Tennessee are actually trees? This bad boy had a trunk about 5-6 inches wide and was about 8 feet tall! Yes, yes, I know,,, nerdy farm kid ;) |
Another beautiful day at the river |
