8 weeks already!

My little 8 week old. Actually he's not so little. He checked in a little over 12 pounds at his checkup the other day. Hard to believe! He is so lovable and cuddly and smiley. He loves 'talking' and it's the cutest thing in the world!

He must've been bored watching me get ready for the day. 

We went to the park with Gramma and Gramoa and the Aunts and Uncles earlier this week. He got lots of snuggle time with Gramma. It was a beautiful day!

But then awake and excited for daddy to get home from milking

Things I love today:)

I love being mommy to my little Joey:)

I love being wifey to my wonderful Bryce:)

I love it that I get to wake up every morning a see sweet sleepy smiles like this:)

We were looking through pictures of Bryce when he was a baby... And we are pretty sure that they are twins:)

This all means Joey is on track to grow into a handsome man someday :)

Our little guy will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. Just a few days over a month old. He is getting so big and so alert. He's even been smiling!!! He loves it when people talk to him. 

Daddy gave him his first bottle yesterday. He wasn't really sure what was going on but he took it anyway! Yay! This will make it easier for him to stay with babysitters and daddy for longer than just a couple hours. :) 

My sleepy boy. He was catching up from a tiring weekend of spoon river drive and visiting :) he was a good sport through all of it.
