Well, it's been a little while since I posted... And I really have no excuse. We are still waiting for Peanut to make his appearance. He seems quite happy and content to stay where he is. We are officially at 39 weeks. According to the 'What to expect when you're expecting' app, he should be between 19 and 22 inches long and weigh between 7 and 8 pounds. We shall see :)
So I thought I would do some catch up work here to let you see what we've been up to for the last month.
Back towards the end of July Bryce was in a friend's wedding.

Ain't he cute?
It was a pretty outdoor wedding and the breeze was nice and the rain held off
I've gotten to use my clothesline a lot!
Yes you guessed it, he is building our little guy's crib. It is made of cherry and with lots of love and care. :)

Proud daddy to be :)
Just a few finishing touches and we can bring it in the house and get ready to put a baby in it.
My Mama's birthday was a fun event. We threw a surprise party for her.
Bryce, Sam, Sarah, Brooke, and I went to the state fair to watch the tractor and truck pulls. That was a lot of fun!
I've pretty much lived in flip flops all summer and hadn't had a professional pedicure since Michelle's wedding last year, so I finally broke down and got one. It was so worth it :)
Here is where we are now. 39 weeks. Crazy!!!
Yesterday my good friend Kim and her sweet girl Addison came over to hang out and we put up some sweet corn. It was great to have some company and talk and laugh and enjoy Addison's smiles.
Today after sleeping in super late and it being dark and cloudy, I decided it was a crockpot supper day. Rolled rump roast, potatoes and carrots that'll be ready to munch on when Bryce gets home from milking. Yummy.
So, that's pretty much been it here at Bakers Acres. We were blessed with another shower that the ladies at church hosted. I keep finding things to rearrange and organize in the nursery. Our bags are packed for the hospital. We are prepared for the heat wave coming in the next day or so. Air conditioner is a great blessing! ( maybe the change in the weather will get Peanut to come? Anybody have experience with this ?)
Have a great day and I'll keep you all posted! Next Wednesday is the official due date. We will see if he decides to come then or not...
